Why species matters

Small German cockroaches breed indoors around appliances and cabinetry and are usually treated with gel baits and growth regulators placed where they harbour. Larger species tend to live outside, in drains and the roof, and are managed with perimeter and roof void treatments.

Helping the treatment work

• Avoid spraying household insecticide over bait placements.
• Keep benches, floors and bins clean so the bait is the most attractive food around.
• Expect some activity for a short period after treatment while the bait takes effect.
